Description:	The 1992 National Adult Literacy Survey data files are composed of data records containing information collected during this survey in two groups: 24,944 adults living in households and 1,147 adults living in prisons. Each respondent's record provides data for a common set of background items and a subset of cognitive tasks. Included are an electronic codebook, printed documentation for using the files, and special analysis software.
