Project Director: James McMahon
Amount Awarded: $4,056,510
Project Application 2.3 MB
Project Abstract 102 KB
Major Outcomes:
- Build the Louisiana Education Data Repository System (LEDRS) :
- Creation of a data repository that will centralize and link the data that currently reside in isolated silos.
- Creation of a data reporting system that will enable the LDOE to automate its EdFacts reporting and provide tools for routine and rapid ad hoc reporting.
- Training of LDOE technical staff will be a crucial component of making this project sustainable. We will expect our vendor to take on a majority of the initial setup and configuration of the data repository and reporting modules, however all future enhancements must be internally managed and maintained and so proper training is essential.
- Creation of three new systems that will track homeless students, Section 504 students, and critical student performance measures.
- Homeless Students.
- Section 504 Students.
- Critical Student Performance Measures.
- Training in the new applications (Section 504, Homeless, Student Performance, and reporting tools) will be handled by LDOE staff.
