Mission Statement
The Yeshiva's goal is to carry forward a chain of excellence in education and to serve as a center for training outstanding Talmudic scholars. The elements of this mission can be delineated as follows: - to maintain and reinforce the deep commitment to Jewish beliefs, heritage and tradition. - to develop in students deep ethical principles and a strong moral fiber through the study of the classical and ethical texts in Rabbinical literature. - to train students in the practical study and analysis of the Talmud, its commentaries, and literary offspring through the development of skills in textual analysis, legal reasoning and productive research. - to relate this study of Talmud and the practical Halacha developed from it to every aspect of their lives, unbounded by career, locale, and era. The goal of the Yeshiva is to transplant the values of the pre-war yeshivos to the New World, in modern America.
