My Dream

My name is Terry. I'm From Ireland where the
grass is so green and the countryside is so
breathtaking. |
I came to the U.S. in Sept. of 1982 for a
vacation because I was curious. I decided to go
home and get a job to make more money to come back
to the States. My ambition was to get more out of
life. |
The States has a lot of opportunities for
young people. It gave me the inspiration to be
around people that were able to read and write. |
I wanted to help myself. It was a great
expereince to have help with my reading and
writing. Not being able to read makes you feel
very insecure about yourself. Coming to a
different land you learn a lot about the country
and people. |
