
The School Survey on Crime and Safety (SSOCS) is the primary source of school-level data on crime and safety for the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The SSOCS is a nationally representative cross-sectional survey of about 3,000 public elementary and secondary schools. To find out more information about SSOCS, please click on the questions below.
Highlights
31 new tables have been added to the table library of the CSS & SSOCS websites. Results from the 2005–06 SSOCS are now available. New options on the table library search allow users to search 1999–2000, 2003–04, and 2005–06 SSOCS tables by year, school level, and topic, and 2003 & 2005 SCS tables by year and topic.
