Frequently Asked Questions

What results were reported?

The CivEd reports include data on topics such as overall achievement results for the U.S. and other participating countries, these achievement results broken down by race, gender, socioeconomic background, and participation in various student organizations. In addition, the results examine the role of school and classroom climate on civic achievement.

Additional analyses will be devoted to the examination of student attitudes toward civic issues, and the relationship between background characteristics, school organization, civic achievement and attitudes.
