NOTE: The universe for this table includes all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, four outlying areas (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Marianas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Department of Defense schools. Title I schools and schoolwide programs are defined in the following way in the CCD: Title I school—A school designated under appropriate state and federal regulations as being high poverty and eligible for participation in programs authorized by Title I of P.L. 107-110; Title I schoolwide program—A program in which all the students in a school are designated under appropriate state and federal regulations as being high poverty and eligible for participation in programs authorized by Title I of P.L. 107-110.
