1 Year-round cycle is defined as a cycle of school days distributed across 12 months of the calendar year and all students attending on the same cycle.
NOTE: BIE school refers to schools funded by the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) that are operated by the BIE, a tribe, or a private contractor and not by a regular school district. Detail may not sum to totals because of rounding. This table may differ from previously published SASS tables (for example: https://nces.ed.gov/surveys/sass/tables/sass0708_030_s1n.asp) because the year-round school information in this table was taken from an unedited version of the data files. In the restricted-use data files, data from schools that selected "Yes" to item 24b on whether all students attended year-round school on the same cycle were incorrectly edited such that they were considered year-round schools, regardless of their response to item 24a on whether the school was a year-round school. This table corrects that error.
