NOTE: The U.S. met guidelines for sample participation rates only after replacement schools were included. Black includes African American, and Hispanic includes Latino. Students who identified themselves as being of Hispanic origin were classified as Hispanic, regardless of their race. Analyses for free or reduced-price lunch are limited to public schools only, based on school reports of the percentage of students in public school eligible for the federal free or reduced-price lunch program.
