This study explores the similarities and differences between the assessment frameworks and item characteristics of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Technology and Engineering Literacy (TEL) assessment and the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS). The two assessments were administered by NCES to two separate samples of eighth-grade students in the spring of 2018.
