NOTE: A CSSC to SCED secondary course classification crosswalk was used to convert course classification codes in HS&B and NAEP HSTS studies to the School Courses for the Exchange of Data (SCED) coding system. This coding system is what is used in the Secondary School Course Taxonomy (SSCT) to define secondary subject courses. Table includes data from high school graduates who graduated on-time and with complete transcripts from the following high school populations: HS&B 1980 sophomores in 1982, NAEP HSTS 2000 seniors and HSLS:09 9th graders in 2013. The weights used are TRWT (HS&B), FINSTUWT (HSTS), and W3HSTRANS (HSLS).
