NOTE: Credit recovery program is defined as a "program targeted at standards in which students were deficient." Programs may be offered by computer software, online instruction (such as a virtual school), or teacher-guided instruction. School administrators participating in the High School Longitudinal Study of 2009 (HSLS:09) were asked about availability of these programs at their school, as well as whether the programs were offered onsite at the school, online, or a combination of both. See the HSLS:09 Questionnaires webpage for more information: https://nces.ed.gov/surveys/hsls09/pdf/2012_administrator.pdf. W2STUDENT weight was used. The detailed estimates for types of course offered may not sum to the total for credit recovery program available.
