Title:	Study of College Costs and Prices, 1988-89 to 1997-98
Description:	This report presents the findings of a study mandated by Congress as part of the 1998 Amendments to the Higher Education Act. The study examines the relationship between costs and prices at groups of public and private not-for-profit institutions, and explores the potential association between financial aid and tuition, using data primarily from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Volume 2 (2002-158) contains seven commissioned papers from expert authors in the higher education community, as part of the first phase of a study mandated by Congress as part of the 1998 Amendments to the Higher Education Act.
