Andrew Reschovsky is a professor in the Robert M. La Follette Institute of Public Affairs and the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he teaches public finance, microeconomic analysis, and urban economics. He has a Ph.D. in Economics form the University of Pennsylvania, and has held previous academic positions at Rutgers University and Tufts University. He has also served as a consultant to several federal agencies and to a number of state and local governments throughout the country. During 1994 and 1995 he served as an economist in the Office of Tax Analysis of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. His research focuses on tax policy and on state and local government finance. He has written numerous articles in professional journals and has contributed articles to a number of books. In addition to his work on education fiance, he is currently conducting research on state government fiscal responses to block grants for welfare and on the possibilities of converting the mortgage interest credit into a tax deduction.

Jennifer Imazeki is a research assistant with the Consortium for Policy Research in Education, and a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her dissertation research focuses on education production and the teacher labor market.
