Cardiology. A residency training program that prepares physicians in the natural history of cardiovascular disorders in adults and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Includes instruction in coronary care, diagnostic testing and evaluation, invasive and non-invasive therapies and pacemaker follow-up. Requires prior completion of a program in internal medicine.
