NJDOE seeks to enhance the quality and scope of K-12 data available for analysis in New Jersey's P20W NJSDS. The following outcomes relate to the proposed improvements to infrastructure and interoperability and will be completed by the end of the grant period:

Interoperability of SEA-LEA data
Interoperability of SEA data to the NJSDS
Expanded use of P20W data for evidence-based policymaking
Expanded data sources in NJSDS

  - improve data quality within each of its SLDS and source data systems
  - improve data accessibility
  - more tightly coordinate activities and automate data flows across all data systems
  - address missing data by participating in a multi-state data exchange
- The following outcomes are infrastructure-related and will be completed by the end of the grant period:
  - NJDOE Data Consolidation
  - Postsecondary Student Unit Record (SURE) Data Collection
  - Data Accessibility Improvement
  - Research Community Data Access
  - Early Childhood Integration Plan
  - Mid-Atlantic Interstate Data Exchange
