Automate Management of the Approval Process: FLDOE proposes to replace its current data request management system (e-mail and hard copy) with a Web-based automated application that will accelerate FLDOE's ability to review and approve data requests.
Metadata Application: similar to an electronic data dictionary for the integrated systems.
Sandbox to be a restricted access Web-based environment in which an approved requestor is provided time-limited access through assigned security protocols that include pathways and passwords.
Set up a Research Advisory Council.
Develop a Web-based portal consolidating access to these tools into one location for the user.
Integration of facility and cost information into the Education Data Warehouse (EDW) for both historical (stable) data and current (volatile) data through use of an Operational Data Store.
Deployment to analysts and policy makers through a web-base business intelligence (BI) environment.
Publication and distribution of a guidebook outlining design conventions to be considered when establishing integrated finance, facilities, and student information systems.
