School Choice in the United States: 2019

Across the United States, an evolving school choice landscape reflects changes in the accessibility and desirability of an array of educational options, including traditional and nontraditional public schools, private schools, and homeschooling. Using survey data from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), this report examines eight indicators related to enrollment, achievement, safety, and parent satisfaction for multiple categories of elementary and secondary school settings.
