Enrollment Rates

The school enrollment rate for 3- and 4-year-olds in 2016 (54 percent) was not measurably different than the rate in 2000, but rates for 5- and 6-year-olds decreased from 96 percent to 93 percent. There was no measurable change in the enrollment rates of 7- to 13-year-olds and 14- to 17-year-olds between 2000 and 2016.
