NOTE: Data in this table represent the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Data are for first-time full-time certificate/degree-seeking students at 2-year degree-granting postsecondary institutions participating in Title IV federal financial aid programs. Cohort entry years refer to fall of the academic year; for example, 2016 entry cohort refers to students who entered in academic year 2016-17. Data for students not reported by race/ethnicity were prorated based on the known racial/ethnic composition of the institution each of these students was enrolled in. Detail may not sum to totals because of rounding. Race categories exclude persons of Hispanic ethnicity.
