1This item on the questionnaire provided the following examples of mental health disorders: depression, mood disorders, and ADHD. The questionnaire defined mental health disorders as "collectively, all diagnosable mental health disorders or health conditions that are characterized by alterations in thinking, mood, or behavior (or some combination thereof) associated with distress and/or impaired functioning."
2The questionnaire defined cyberbullying as "bullying that occurs when willful and repeated harm is inflicted through the use of computers, cell phones, or other electronic devices."
3The questionnaire defined bullying as "any unwanted, aggressive behavior(s) by another youth or group of youths that involves an observed or perceived power imbalance and is repeated multiple times or is highly likely to be repeated. Bullying occurs among youth who are not siblings or current dating partners."
4The questionnaire defined violence as "actual, attempted, or threatened fight or assault."
NOTE: Includes trainings provided by the school or school district. Responses were provided by the principal or the person most knowledgeable about crime and safety issues at the school.
