In 2012, a regular classroom teacher was a teacher in a regular full- or part-time teaching position at the kindgergarten through 12th-grade level. In 2020, a regular classroom teacher was a teacher in a regular full- or part-time teaching position at the prekindergarten through 12th-grade level. Regular classroom teachers do not include itinerant teachers, support teachers, teacher's aides, substitute teachers, student teachers, or other teaching positions. Race categories exclude persons of Hispanic ethnicity. Detail may not sum to totals because of rounding.
