Includes only schools that have any students in both grades 11 and 12.
Programs allowing high school students to take college-level courses offered by colleges and to earn concurrent credit toward a high school diploma and a college degree while still in high school.
A College Board program of advanced, college-level courses designed for students who achieve a specified level of academic performance. Upon successful completion of an AP course and a standardized AP exam, a student may be qualified to receive college credit and/or placement into advanced college courses.
A program sponsored by the International Baccalaureate Organization, typically taught over 2 years. International Baccalaureate is designed as an academically challenging and balanced program of education with final examinations.
Program or course enrollments as a percentage of enrollment in grades 11 and 12 (excluding ungraded students). Individual students may be counted in multiple programs. For example, if the same student enrolls in a dual credit program and AP coursework, this counts as two course enrollments.
Includes courses that cover the following topics: trigonometry, trigonometry/algebra, trigonometry/analytic geometry, trigonometry/math analysis, analytic geometry, math analysis, math analysis/analytic geometry, probability and statistics, and precalculus.
Program or course enrollments as a percentage of enrollment in grades 9 through 12 (including ungraded students). Individual students may be counted in multiple programs or courses. For example, if the same student enrolls in both calculus and physics, this counts as two course enrollments.
NOTE: Data in this table represent the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Includes only schools that are included in both the Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) and the Common Core of Data (CCD) whose highest grade offered is grade 11 or 12.
