Data for 2013 and 2014 used the ISCED 2011 classification and may not be comparable to data for earlier years. In this table, elementary school corresponds to ISCED 1997 and ISCED 2011 level 1 (U.S. grades 1 through 6), junior high school corresponds to ISCED 1997 and ISCED 2011 level 2 (U.S. grades 7 through 9), and senior high school corresponds to ISCED 1997 and ISCED 2011 level 3 (U.S. grades 10 through 12).
