Appendix A.5. American Council on Education

One of the American Council on Education's (ACE) programs and services is the General Educational Development Testing Service (GEDTS), which develops and distributes General Educational Development (GED) tests. A GED credential documents high school-level academic skills. ACE publishes Who Passed the GED Tests? This report looks not only at those who take the GED, but also at how each jurisdiction uses the GED as the basis for awarding high school credentials.
