The following table presents the number of fourth- and eighth-grade public schools and their estimated enrollment, as contained in the
Common Core of Data (CCD)-based sampling frames, by jurisdiction, for the state mathematics and reading assessments. Grade 4 or grade 8 enrollment was estimated for each school as the average of the per-grade enrollments for grades 1 through 8, counting only the grades in that range that were offered by the school.
