The following table presents counts of eligible sampled schools and participating schools, as well as weighted school response rates, for the 2014 TEL assessment. The weighted school response rates estimate the proportion of the student population that is represented by the participating school sample prior to substitution.

NOTE: National public includes students from public schools only. Includes charter schools, excludes Bureau of Indian Education schools and Department of Defense Education Activity schools. It is used when comparing national data to those of states, urban districts, or regions. School counts are rounded to nearest ten. Detail may not sum to totals because of rounding. Percentages are based on unrounded counts.
