The materials, distribution, processing, and scoring (MDPS) staff order, package, and distribute materials to the sampling design contractor (SDC) administrators for the NAEP DBA 2024 assessment.

The MPDS contractor provides student login cards and bulk materials consisting of paper school and teacher questionnaires; ancillaries (subject specific and accommodated); and pencils, Testing in Progress signs, and scratch paper to be used during the testing session. 

A shipment tracking system is available to the SDC administrators to track their shipments from MDPS. The system shows

  • the date materials are shipped;
  • tracking numbers assigned to their shipments;
  • the date to expect their shipments; and
  • a place to record the date the materials arrived.
