The student booklets used in the 2012 NAEP reading long-term trend assessment were composed of three unique blocks of cognitive items at each age group. In addition, each booklet contained a section of student background (non-cognitive) questions. The tables below display the NAEP 2012 reading long-term trend assessment student booklet configurations for age 9, age 13, and age 17.
