Contact NAEP—Report a technical problem with the NAEP website

Please read the following tips if you are reporting some problem or difficulty with the use of the NAEP website.

  • If a page doesn't appear correctly, try refreshing it. In Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, you can to this by pressing the F5 key. If that doesn't work, try a complete refresh by holding down the Ctrl key while pressing F5.

  • Clearing your browser's cache may fix the problem, especially if you are experiencing difficulty with a page or Web tool you have visited before. The cache is where your browser stores files it collects when it downloads them so that it doesn't need to request them again from the Web server the next time they are needed. For information on how to clear your cache, see the NCES FAQ, How do I clear the cache on my browser?

If the problem persists after following these steps, please send us details using the form below. Please include:

  • the URL (address) of the page where you experienced the problem;
  • the date and time when the problem occurred, and your time zone;
  • the name and version of your browser;
  • your computer's operating system, including the version; and
  • a description of what you observed to be the problem, and any additional information that may help us replicate the problem.
