Comment Policy
Your comments are what make this blog successful and drive us to create increasingly more engaging content. We encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and feelings on the information we present in this blog, which we hope will spark a wider discussion on these issues. Every comment is reviewed before being posted, and in so doing, we reserve the right to withdraw comments from these pages at any time.
We expect that participants will treat each other, as well as our agency and employees, with respect. We will not post comments that:
- contain vulgar or abusive language, personal attacks of any kind or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups;
- promote services or products (non-commercial links that are relevant to the blog post or comment are acceptable);
- are clearly “off topic” or “spam;”
- make unsupported accusations; or
- reference federal employees by name.
Comments containing objectionable content will not be edited but will simply be deleted, so please ensure that your comments do not contain any of the above.
Comments are welcome at any time of the day or night. However, given the need to manage federal resources, please allow up to three days for comments to be reviewed and posted during the week. Moderating and posting of comments will occur during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and posted as soon as reasonably possible, usually the next business day.
Please do not include personally identifiable information, such as your name, Social Security number, address, phone number or email address in the body of your comment. Doing so will result in the rejection of your comment.
