Mission Statement
Today, Beth Medrash Meor Yitzchok, with the Rosh Hayeshiva, Rabbi Wachsman at its helm, has become a Torah institution of renown. Rabbi Wachsman, a sought after speaker, counselor, and spiritual guide for Torah Jews around the world, works with a strong and experienced faculty, to guide each student in the path of the yeshiva. Taking advantage of the outstanding Torah resources of the Monsey community, visiting lecturers regularly convene with Beth Medrash Meor Yitzchok students. Beth Medrash Meor Yitzchok is truly meeting and exceeding the dreams of its founders, providing an opportunity for Talmudic scholarship at the highest level combined with Chasidic warmth and enthusiasm, with the goal of training a complete Torah Jew.
