The United States Air Force Academy is a Military Institution with a rigorous physical and academic program. All admitted students are required to complete six weeks of basic cadet training prior to Fall enrollment of their freshman year. All students must maintain physical fitness standards and pass the physical fitness test.

  • The United States Military Academy (USMA), United State Naval Academy (USNA), and United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) fall under the Department of Defense, not the Department of Education.
