Misión
The mission of Rabbinical Seminary M’kor Chaim is to engender students with a love for learning and a derech in lomdus based on the analytic methods of Rav Chaim Brisker as transmitted by Rav Binyomin Paler ztz”l, while molding them into true bnei Torah. Inherent in this mission are the following specific objectives: 1- To inculcate students with a deep and abiding commitment to upholding the Mesorah of the great Litvishe mosdos Hatorah 2 - To train students in the study and analytical interpretation of classic Talmudic texts, utilizing the methodology of Brisker lomdus; and in doing so, develop students’ reasoning skills, proficiency in textual analysis, capacity for analysis, and ability to apply advanced logic 3 - To develop a strong moral dimension by fostering an ethical sensibility through the study of Mussar 4 - To mold students in the Torah lifestyle, and provide them with a Torah’dik foundation from which to make decisions 5 - To make students aware of the enduring relevance and immutability of our Mesorah 6 - To imbue students with a sense of service to the Orthodox community 7 - To enable every student to excel in Torah in his own way, given his own personality and talents
