Information on Local Education Agency (School District) Universe Survey Dropout and Completion Data
The 2002-03 and 2003-04 databases provide the following information on education agencies:
- NCES Agency ID code;
- Names, addresses, and telephone numbers;
- Number of dropouts by grade; and
- Enrollment base by grade aggregated from the school universe file.
The 2001-02 and earlier databases provide the following information on education agencies:
- NCES Agency ID code;
- Names, addresses, and telephone numbers;
- Number of dropouts by grade, race, and sex;
- Dropout rates by grade, race, and sex;
- Enrollment base used in dropout rate;
- Number of high school completers by race and sex;
- 4-year high school completion rates by race and sex; and
- Base used in 4-year high school completion rate.
Agency Database Notes
This database may be merged with the Local Education Agency Universe File by using the NCES ID code for the agency.
