1. Data Collection Calendar for 2024-25
The IPEDS data collection calendar for 2024-25 has now been posted and is available within the Data Collection System’s Help menu, and on the login page at: https://surveys.nces.ed.gov/ipeds/public/data-collection-schedule
2. OMB Announces Review of the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) System
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB), on behalf of the Standard Occupational Classification Policy Committee (SOCPC), announces the review of the 2018 Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) Manual for potential revisions to be made for 2028 and solicits public comment. This review and possible revision of the 2018 SOC is intended to be completed by the beginning of 2027.
