There are three items this week:

College Navigator Update
Trend Generator Webinar and User Guide
Data Collection Registration for 2018-19 Now Open

1. College Navigator Update

College Navigator has recently been updated with the following data: Fall Enrollment (Fall 2017), Retention Rates (Fall 2016 to Fall 2017), and Instructional Staff (Fall 2017).

2. Trend Generator Webinar and User Guide

As previously announced, a new version of Trend Generator is now available (at: https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/trendgenerator). The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) has now posted a webinar recording that walks through the Trend Generator functionality, and the recording is freely available at the URL below. Please note that the recording may not be accessible using Internet Explorer, therefore please use Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge, or another browser. https://www.airweb.org/EducationAndEvents/OnlineLearning/webinars/Pages/IPEDS-Trend-Generator.aspx.

Additionally, NCES has now added a Trend Generator user guide. The user guide is accessible in the upper right-hand corner of the Trend Generator toolbar. Upon clicking on the link, users will have access to step-by-step instructions, including screenshots, on how to: trend variables over time, limit results, build tables with modified rows and column categories, and customize trend charts.

3. Data Collection Registration for 2018-19 Now Open

The registration period for the 2018-19 data collection began on August 8, 2018. Existing (primary) Keyholders and Coordinators should have received a registration email on August 8th. If you expected to receive the emails and did not, please contact the Help Desk. For additional information on the data collection schedule for 2018-19, please see:
