This Week In IPEDS (TWII)
NCES has posted information relating to proposed changes to IPEDS for 2009-10 and beyond:
A required official announcement regarding proposed changes to IPEDS was recently posted in the Federal Register. In order to comply with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) legislation, IPEDS must implement additional revisions to the data collection in the 2009-10 collection year. In addition to the HEOA changes, NCES has proposed additional changes aimed at reducing burden for nondegree-granting institutions. A summary of these changes is located at: http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/InsidePages/TrainingAnnouncements?date=2009-March-31&id=958
