College Map
NCES is pleased to release a new postsecondary search tool, College Map (http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/CollegeMap/, which will help future undergraduate and graduate students visually and quickly locate their future college or university. College Map supplements College Navigator (http://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/) by mapping institutions with a physical location. Exclusively online institutions are not mapped, but appear in the results pane if users select to include online institutions in their search results
College Map is currently in a Beta version and has room for improvement before its final release. So give it a test run on your desktop or mobile devices, and send us your constructive feedback to ipeds@ed.gov.
We hope this new tool demonstrates the importance of your data reported to NCES by presenting it in a meaningful way for prospective students.
