Updates on First-Professional Degree Classification and 2007 Data Feedback Reports
NCES has recently posted two announcements affecting IPEDS reporting. Please take the time to review these announcements to determine how your institution may be affected.
First, NCES has posted the final plan for revision of the “First-Professional Degree” classification, including modified reporting categories and definitions of those categories. The posting provides detailed information about the plan, as well as a schedule for implementation.
Second, a TRP was recently held to discuss changes for the IPEDS Data Feedback Reports scheduled for 2007 and beyond. The final suggestions include revisions to existing figures and the addition of additional figures. Comments are currently being sought through Nov. 29, 2006.
