GDP calculated for the fiscal year in Australia and GDP and total public expenditure calculated for the fiscal year in New Zealand.
For countries where GDP is not reported for the same reference period as data on educational finance, GDP is estimated as: wt-1 (GDPt - 1) + wt (GDPt), where wt and wt-1 are the weights for the respective portions of the two reference periods for GDP which fall within the educational financial year. Adjustments were made in the EAG 2011Chapter B for Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Year of reference 2007 instead of 2008.
Year of reference 2009 instead of 2008.
Total public expenditure adjusted to financial year.
The GDP Mainland market value is used for Norway.
NOTE: Uses 2008 current prices. Data on GDP, PPPs and total public expenditure in countries in the Euro zone are provided in Euros.
