Title:  Indicator of the Month: Internet Access in Public and Private Schools
Description: The percentage of schools with access to the Internet increased from 35 percent in the fall of 1994 to 78 percent in 1997. This access was more likely to be provided to teachers than students, and in schools with low rather than high percentages of low income students.
