This table includes districts operated by the Bureau of Indian Education and the Department of Defense although they are technically federally-operated. City includes the categories of large city and mid-size city. Suburban includes the categories of urban fringe of a large city and urban fringe of a mid-size city. Town includes the categories of large town and small town. Rural includes the categories of rural, within a core-based statistical area and rural, outside a core-based statistical area.
