What's New
Handbooks Online is updated once a year. Each update is given a version number
which can be found on the bottom right-hand corner of each webpage. To see a
detailed list of each item that has been changed or added in the latest version
go to the Reports Page.
Version 10.0 Updates (Released September 2012)
- Updated based on CEDS Version 2
- Added new separate elements for each Race and Ethnicity
- Added new elements to support assessments, accountability and reporting
- Added and updated additional elements to support program participation including early childhood, IDEA, Title I, Title III, Migrant and Neglected and Delinquent
- Expanded elements for Learning Standard Items and Documents

Version 8.0 Updates (Released September 2010)

- Option Handbook Numbers have been changed to five-digits. Existing codes had a leading zero added to the start of the option number.
Version 6.0 Updates (Released August 2008)
- Two new option sets in Version 6.0 (FIPS County and MSA Codes) now utilize 5-digit option set codes. Leading zeros will be added to the existing 4-digit option codes in Version 7.0.
