The term “anywhere” was not used in the YRBS questionnaire; students were simply asked how many times during the past 30 days they used marijuana. National, state, territory, and local YRBS data come from separate scientific samples of schools and students. With the exception of Ohio and South Dakota, state representative samples are drawn from public schools only for the state level data.
