NOTE: These estimates exclude those who were employed but not at work during the survey week. Low income refers to the bottom 20 percent of family incomes, high income refers to the top 20 percent of family incomes, and middle income refers to the 60 percent in between. Native-born refers to high school students born in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Race categories exclude persons of Hispanic ethnicity.
