ChildStats.gov
This website of the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics is the home of the nation's annual monitoring report on children's well being, "America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being. The Forum includes participants from across government as well as partners in private research organizations.

FEDSTATS
FedStats is a window on the full range of official statistical information available to the public from the Federal Government. It provides linking and searching capabilities to track economic and population trends, health care costs, aviation safety, foreign trade, energy use, farm production, and more. Access official statistics collected and published by more than 70 Federal agencies without having to know in advance which agency produces them.

USA.Gov
The official U.S. gateway to all government information, USA.Gov is the catalyst for a growing electronic government. The powerful search engine and ever-growing collection of topical and customer-focused links connects users to millions of web pages - from the federal government, local, state, and tribal governments and to foreign nations around the world.

International Archive of Education Data (IAED)
The IAED, sponsored by NCES, stores education data intended to support a wide variety of comparative and longitudinal research. Data files, documentation, and reports are downloadable from the IAED website in public-use format. An online data analysis system (DAS) that allows users to conduct analyses on selected datasets is also available.

National Commission on Libraries and Information Science (NCLIS)
NCLIS works cooperatively with NCES in implementing the Library Statistics Cooperative Program. NCLIS serves as a liaison to the library community, organizes meetings and training workshops, organizes training and technical assistance, monitors trends, and advises NCES on policy matters.

National Forum on Education Statistics
Established to improve the collection, reporting, and use of elementary and secondary education statistics, the Forum deals with issues in education data policy, sponsors innovations in data collection and reporting, and provides technical assistance to improve state and local data systems.

National Postsecondary Education Cooperative (NPEC)
NPEC is a voluntary partnership of governmental and nongovernmental providers and users of education data. Its dual mission is to: (1) identify and communicate on-going and emerging issues in postsecondary education; and (2) promote the quality, comparability and utility of postsecondary data and information that support policy development, implementation, and evaluation.

Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
The OECD is an intergovernmental forum bringing together 30 countries sharing the principles of the market economy, pluralist democracy and respect for human rights.

U.S. Charter Schools
This site is designed primarily for people at the local level involved in creating, sponsoring and running charter schools. A secondary audience are those people who provide technical assistance to charter schools. This website includes a search tool to help you get information about specific schools.

White House Social Statistics Briefing Room (SSBR)
This White House website serves to provide easy access to current Federal social statistics. It provides links to information produced by a number of Federal agencies.

Other Online Educational Resources
The U.S. Department of Education maintains links to sites of organizations who receive funding from the department as well as other valuable locations. These include: Federal Government; State Agencies; Libraries; Educational Associations; and other sites of interest.
