			Variation in Weights

The student nonresponse adjusted replicate weights were trimmed using the trimming factor that was computed for the full sample. The student replicate weights were trimmed as follows:

• are the trimmed student replicate weights of the jth student in ith school,

• are the student nonresponse adjusted student replicate weights of the jth student in ith school in adjustment class k, and

• is the full-sample trimming factor for jth student in ith school.
