Once all booklets listed on the administration schedule for a session are verified as being present, all session materials (the administration schedule and booklets) are forwarded to the batching area. All booklets are batched by grade level, subject, and session type. Each batch is assigned a unique batch number. For all scannable documents, this number—created on the Work Flow Management System—facilitates the internal tracking of the batches and allows departmental resource planning. All other image scannable documents (teacher questionnaires, school questionnaires, students with disabilities (SD)/limited-English-proficient (LEP) student questionnaires, and rosters) are batched by document type in the same manner.
