During general sessions, field staff ensure that assessments are conducted according to established guidelines. These responsibilities include:
clarifying student questions about how or where to record answers,
ensuring that students who have finished sections early have not gone back to previous sections or worked ahead in the booklets,
handling difficult situations pertaining to students' behaviors or attitudes, and
responding to and managing other unexpected situations that may arise.
